Optical Sensor
Based on the reflection principle, a high-sensitivity receiver IC is used, and VCSEL/LED is used at the transmitting end, which finally reflects the distance in numbers. Ambient light detection adopts a high-sensitivity, multi-channel photoelectric conversion circuit to achieve accurate measurement of multiple light sources.

Product Overview
Optical Sensor
Epticore optical sensors can realize the functions of ambient light detection (ALS) and proximity detection (PS). ALS is used to detect the intensity of ambient light, and the light sensing value provided can be used to adjust the brightness of display devices, reduce power consumption and extend the usage time of devices. PS is used to detect the proximity of objects around the chip, which requires the provision of active light emitting elements (LED or VCSEL), generally infrared light source, wavelength 850nm, 950nm, etc.
